This expedition pairs the frontier of human spaceflight with the icons of American culture. Students spend a full day at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Florida’s Space Coast, walk beneath the mighty Saturn V, and take part in International Yoga Day at the United Nations — then experience New York, Washington DC, Niagara Falls and Orlando’s world-famous theme parks.
Kennedy Space Center is NASA’s primary launch site for human spaceflight, where students explore the Visitor Complex, the Vehicle Assembly Building, the Saturn V centre and the launch pads. The tour weaves in the Statue of Liberty, One World Observatory, the 9/11 Memorial, the UN Headquarters, Times Square, Washington DC’s monuments, the natural power of Niagara Falls, and Universal & Disney in Orlando.
From rocket propulsion and space history at KSC to civics at the UN and Capitol Hill, ecology at Niagara and the science of glass at Corning, students connect classroom subjects to the real world — and represent India on a global stage at the UN’s International Yoga Day celebration.
