Day 01
Departure by early morning flight from T-3 Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi to Helsinki International Airport. Reach Helsinki by Evening. Transfer to hotel for Check In. Dinner at a nearby Local Restaurant.
Day 02
- Breakfast at the Hotel. Then use public transport / walk to the training venue.
- Morning - 3 hours Session:
- Welcoming words at the University of Helsinki Centre for Continuing Education HY
- Presentation on Finnish Education System and
- Teacher Education in Finland
- Expert from the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Educational Sciences.
- Enjoy your lunch at the campus
- Afternoon - 2 hours Session:
- Presentation on Finnish Curriculum Reform Expert from the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Educational Sciences.
- Presentation on Evaluation and Assessment Expert from the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Educational Science.
- Early Evening:
- After the afternoon session, enjoy the Helsinki Boat line Tour or other attractions. (Subject to availability and running schedule)
- Late Evening:
- Shopping followed by Special dinner with informal get together at Indian/Local Restaurant (Included in the cost)
- Note:- Helsinki cards will be given to each delegate. This card enables you for unlimited use of public transport and attractions with 3 days validity.
Day 03
- Post breakfast, visit a primary School (Grade 1- 6) in Espoo.
- Morning:
- Presentation of the school, classroom visits, discussions with teachers followed by lunch.
- Afternoon:
- Take private transport back to the City Center campus.
- Presentation on School Management and Pedagogical Leadership.
- Early Evening:
- Time to enjoy nearby attractions including museums etc. as per the list of attractions included in the Helsinki Card. Link of Helsinki card is given in the last. Iconic Suomenlinna island should be explored with the same Helsinki Card.
- Late Evening:
- Shopping followed by dinner.
Day 04
- Post breakfast, visit a Secondary School (Grade 7-9) in Espoo.
- Morning:
- Presentation of the school, classroom visits, discussions with teachers (particular focus on STEM subjects), followed by lunch.
- Afternoon:
- Take private transport back to the City Center campus
- Presentation on School Development with Digital Technology.
- In-service training of teachers.
- Early Evening:
- It's time to enjoy last day shopping in Helsinki & exploring unexplored attractions using your HELSINKI CARD.
- Late Evening:
- Shopping followed by dinner.
Day 05
- Post breakfast, visit a local Finnish School.
- Morning:
- Visit the Helsinki Central Library Oodi
- Guided tour themed on Digitality
- Lunch at India House or at Oodi
- Afternoon:
- Closing Ceremony
- Reflection and discussion, presentation of the certificates and end of the overview program with a group picture.
- Early Evening:
- Time for shopping and exploring some attractions.
- Transfer to Hotel by Tram or other public transport.
- Checkout from the Hotel and transfer to Helsinki central station to board overnight SANTA CLAUS EXPRESS to Rovaniemi @ 19:29.
- Late Evening:
- Dinner on your own in the train.
- Cabins of sleeper Berths have toilets and showers.
Day 06
- Get up early and freshen up, including taking a shower on the train. Breakfast in train.
- Train arrival at Rovaniemi station followed by transfer to your hotel for Check inn. Later visit the SANTA CLAUS VILLAGE and experience the magic of Christmas the entire year. Enjoy Local or Indian Lunch. Spend time on leisure and unique shopping at Rovaniemi
- Enjoy early dinner on your own. Go on an adventurous search for the Northern Lights with an expert local guide in Lapland. Overnight stay in Hotel.
Day 07
- Breakfast buffet at the hotel. Enjoy the traditional authentic Reindeer farm visit with a sledge ride.
- Lunch at Local or Indian Restaurant.
- Begin the City Tour followed by lunch at Indian / Local Restaurant. Leisure time for shopping.
- Transfer to Rovaniemi Station to board overnight train to Helsinki.
- Dinner on your own in the train itself.
Day 08
- Early wake up and get freshen up with showers.
- After arrival at Helsinki Central Railway station, transfer to the ferry terminal by Taxi or miniBus Board ferry and load your luggage to the luggage room.
- After arrival at Tallinn ferry terminal and luggage cloak room, followed by walking orientation tour of beautiful Tallinn with tales about medieval Tallinn and get to know the most interesting stories from their history.
- Lunch at Local / Indian Restaurant
- After enjoying Tallinn – Capital of Estonia, transfer to the Cruise terminal to board overnight Cruise to Stockholm.
- Cruise departure for Stockholm.
- Dinner on board Cruise (Included). Overnight stay in a private twin sharing cabin.
Day 09
- Enjoy the breakfast onboard Cruise. Shower and get ready in Cruise.
- Arrival at Cruise port of Stockholm. Transfer to Hotel for possible check-in for 2 nights stay.
- Lunch followed by City tour of Stockholm.
- Visit the Royal palace of Stockholm which is the King's official residence and workplace.
- Later, enjoy the city tour of the city by land and water.
- Learn about the history of the city from a variety of perspectives, seeing notable landmarks like Grona Lund, The Royal Palace, Royal Theater, Stureplan, City Hall and the royal garden of Djurgarden.
- Drive through the historic center of Stockholm in an Amphibious / your private bus.
- Dinner on your own.
Day 10
- Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel.
- Visit the famous VASA MUSEUM which is located on the Island of Djurgarden, the museum displays the only almost fully intact 17th – century ship that has ever been salvaged with hundreds of wooden sculptures, the 64 – gun warship vasa that sank on her maiden voyage in 1628.
- Lunch at Local / Indian restaurant.
- Later visit SKANSEN MUSEUM which is the only open air Museum in the world, where you can discover Sweden’s history and find out how Swedish once lived according to the changing seasons, through the customs and traditions, work, celebrations and everyday life of times gone by Skansen showcases both domestic and wild Nordic animals such as bears, wolves and lynx.

Day 11
- Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel followed by check out.
- Start the day with a visit to Sigtuna Island. Enjoy the beautiful lake side and Village Market and Cafe.
- Later enjoy early Lunch at Local / Indian Restaurant.
- Transfer to Airport to board Direct or connecting flight to Delhi.
Day 12
- Breakfast on the flight.
- Arrival at the T-3 Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi, India.
